I'll start with the good points of this phone. It is very durable, display is high quality, sound is great. However, processing can be incredibly slow regardless of the strength of your wifi or the charge of your battery. I have seen it take 5-10 minutes to load a page before and that is no exaggeration. The memory space on this phone is an unimpressive 512MB, and will not allow a proper connection to a memory card. This creates issues with photo/video storage, text message memory, video storage. It becomes very tiresome trying to keep up with the storage problems.
The battery also has issues, not
at first, it's good for approximately a year and a half depending on
how much you use your phone it might only be good for a year. After
this time period the batter begins to expand and if you keep using
your phone after this process begins it will start leaking and
possibly even explode! I wish I could say it was just a personal case
but, it is most certainly not as my grandmother owns this device and
she hardly uses her phone but, she can no longer use her device due
to the swelling battery. Her phone will no longer hold a charge for
her.
I really do not recommend this device especially not for a main
phone. If you own this device and your battery is swollen then you
should take the battery out, photograph it, then photograph the
inside of your phone where the battery is placed. Call Samsung and
tell them your situation. It may take a good hour or so for you to
get approved for a new battery just from being transferred, sending
them the necessary photo's and being put on hold however, once you
are approved they will email you a free shipping label to mail your
phone with and will replace the battery for you. I went through this
process myself but never shipped my phone because I had planned on
getting an iOS and it so happened that between the time I called and
was preparing to ship my phone, the iPhone 6 went on sale at my
mobile service provider.
