Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons is the most popular coffee chain in Canada. I truly beleive that all over the world Canada is known as the country of Hockey and Tim Hortons. Which in all honesty is not wrong. Tim Hortons is a multi-billion dollar corporation which easily makes hundreds of millions of dollars every year. 

Recently purchased by Burger King, which is quite an investment for the fast food franchise.

Unfortunately because of the fact that every Tim Hortons location is independently owned they cannot guarantee the same quality from every location. To elaborate on this a little more, some locations do guarantee 20 minutes fresh coffee while others will leave pots sitting around for an hour before disposing of the pot and yes, they will serve it to costumers. I think the biggest complaint about Tim Hortons that a lot of consumers agree with at this point is their costumer service or lack there of. It seems to be getting more and more difficult for costumers to get satisfaction from the corporation. This is due to the fact that Tim Hortons is so popular and makes such a vast amount of money annually that they do not seem to care about their costumers anymore. Another thing that Tim Hortons has been doing lately that is making consumers less than satisfied is under-filling beverages. I have personally experienced this and can tell you that it can be very disappointing especially when you order a premium item on their menu such as an iced capp which can cost close to $4.00 for a large. 

Also, I have just heard recently that the bigger prizes in Roll up the Rim, the car and the television are only leased for you for a year. I really do not understand what the point in this is. It really takes the excitement away for winners of these large prizes. Almost makes you want to turn them down because once the year is up, you'll lose your prize which is extremely disappointing. A lot of consumer's also mentioned that there are fewer of the small prizes being won as well.

Overall the quality of Tim Hortons has dramatically decreased. When the coffee is fresh (and yes, consumer's can tell the difference whether employees believe costumers or not) it's wonderful and the coffee only costs them $0.05-$0.25 per packet so dumping the pots after 20 minutes isn't a loss, really. Especially if employees know the high and low times and do not over brew the coffee. A lot of costumers are turning away from Tim Hortons and who can blame them.

Coffee Time/Robyns Donuts

Another Canadian Coffee Franchise. It's unfortunate that Coffee Time does not have more locations and exposure because they are a wonderful franchise! I have personally always gotten freshly brewed coffee from Coffee Time/Robyns Donuts no matter what location I've visited throughout Canada. The staff are always very friendly and outgoing with costumers which gives the restaurants a personal feel. They guarantee costumer satisfaction and are great people. 

Just an example of this, my mom called to ask the head office a question and the representative that answered my moms questions sent her a $5.00 gift card just for calling. How absolutely sweet is that? I'm sure that they do not do this for all the costumers who call otherwise they would go out of business.

 I have only had one bad experience with a Coffee Time location which was also a Mr.Sub, the owner said they had to charge us for every cream we wanted in our coffee after 4 cream which, if this ever happens to you, tell them that isn't true and if you must call head office while your there. It's unfortunate when incidents such as this happen at a location in a franchise as it reflects badly on the whole company. 

Considering Coffee Time/Robyns Donuts are such a wonderful franchise. They are very appeasing when it comes to costumers and I can guarantee you that the coffee is fresh.

 It is also the best coffee offered in Canada, in my opinion and the opinions of everyone I know who has tried the coffee. I recommend Coffee Time/Robyns Donuts to every coffee drinker I know. 

I would love to see this franchise become the biggest in Canada as it would be well deserved in this case! 10 stars out of 5 for this Canadian coffee franchise.

Super Pet/Petsmart

Super Pet

Super Pet was always one of my absolute favorite pet stores to visit growing up! The establishment was clean, the animals were happy and so were the costumers. In fact, they would hire staff members specifically to look after and care for the animals. I was so dissatisfied when I heard that Petsmart was taking over Super Pet because I knew that meant a lot of changes. I could not have been more right about this. I know that at my location there was a few staff members who were let go and there was also staff members who voluntarily quit. I really disagreed with the changes made, it's a lot less fun visiting this store now that it is Petsmart. I know that I spend 80% less time in this pet store now compared to when it was Super Pet. There used to be a good sized collection of birds kept at this location which drew costumers in, especially this costumer. Now they only have finches, parakeets and budgies in their store. I don't completely disagree with this as I know that a lot of pet store parrots come from some not so reputable breeders, they don't get taken care of properly and most time end up getting sick before or after turning up at the pet store so, I can't really argue that this was a negative decision. I do disagree with reducing the number of staff members there to care for the animals. There's still a good variety of other animals such as reptiles, fish, rodents etc..

I don't dislike Petsmart, I think that they are a decent store that offers a lot of variety to their costumers, I love that they kept the kennel for cats that are in need of forever homes as well. I would also still recommend it to pet owners because they are most likely going to find what they are looking for at Petsmart.

Pepsi Next

Pepsi Next is one of the most refreshing soda beverages that I have personally every tasted.The company fully launched this product in 2012 to attract sugar wary consumers. There is 30% less sugar in this particular Pepsi product which makes it taste a lot less like corn syrup and a lot more like soda.

So, how does the nutritional value of Pepsi Next compare to Pepsi original?

As you can see, there is a big difference between the two products. Not only in sugar but also in the amount of calories, sodium as well as the amount of carbohydrates present in the two different beverages. This is great for those of us who are looking to maintain or reduce our weight!

I highly recommend this product for all soda drinkers, the taste says it all. I really don't enjoy regular soda's anymore because they just don't compare to the quality of Pepsi Next.

The Samsung Galaxy Rugby | Red and Black

I'll start with the good points of this phone. It is very durable, display is high quality, sound is great. However, processing can be incredibly slow regardless of the strength of your wifi or the charge of your battery. I have seen it take 5-10 minutes to load a page before and that is no exaggeration. The memory space on this phone is an unimpressive 512MB, and will not allow a proper connection to a memory card. This creates issues with photo/video storage, text message memory, video storage. It becomes very tiresome trying to keep up with the storage problems. 

The battery also has issues, not at first, it's good for approximately a year and a half depending on how much you use your phone it might only be good for a year. After this time period the batter begins to expand and if you keep using your phone after this process begins it will start leaking and possibly even explode! I wish I could say it was just a personal case but, it is most certainly not as my grandmother owns this device and she hardly uses her phone but, she can no longer use her device due to the swelling battery. Her phone will no longer hold a charge for her.

 I really do not recommend this device especially not for a main phone. If you own this device and your battery is swollen then you should take the battery out, photograph it, then photograph the inside of your phone where the battery is placed. Call Samsung and tell them your situation. It may take a good hour or so for you to get approved for a new battery just from being transferred, sending them the necessary photo's and being put on hold however, once you are approved they will email you a free shipping label to mail your phone with and will replace the battery for you. I went through this process myself but never shipped my phone because I had planned on getting an iOS and it so happened that between the time I called and was preparing to ship my phone, the iPhone 6 went on sale at my mobile service provider.

Clairol Nice'n'Easy Frost &Tip Highlighting Kit Product Review

This is my go to whenever I feel like lightening things up. This hair dye product has some great benefits!
It is not as rough on your hair as some other brands of blonde hair dye. It durastically changes the color of a variety of hair colors from dark brown to light blonde. I sometimes go 6-12 months without dying my hair and I can tell you from personal experience with this brand that it does not fade from the original color even after a year! Another bonus is that it comes with a highlighting cap so you can choose how much of your hair you want to color.
To get these results it can be very simple but very time consuming as well. Use the cap and hook to pull the hair through that you'd like to dye, now, to make this process much easier you might like to consider doing what I do and getting someone else to do this for you or you could skip the cap and dye all your hair if you prefer. Once this process is complete I highly recommend brushing/combing the hair that you've pulled through the cap that will make it easier for you to get the cap off. Then you mix up the dye in the container provided (kit comes with instructions. This is the part that is very important; the instructions say “leave in 15-90 minutes.”, the longer you leave the dye in your hair, the lighter your hair will be! Now, personally I have red pigment in my hair so, I find that only leaving the dye in 15-35 minutes creates a more orange shade of blonde. However, if you leave the dye in your hair for the full 90 minutes you will acheive a much much lighter shade of blonde.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who desires to lighten their hair dramatically. Especially considering there is no aftercare needed, other than the conditioner they provide to initially wash the dye out of your hair. It is worth the 90 minutes of dying for months of beautiful blonde hair that you will acheive! Below is a photo of my own personal results from using this product, months after.

 As you can see this dye makes quite a dramatic difference in the color of your hair! Spending time out in the sun can lighten your hair even more throughout the life of the dye which will last until your hair grow's out and you cut it off. It's amazing stuff! 5 star rating from this consumer!
